Exercise is most often thought of as just a health issue. However, in a dog's life, exercise has significant effects on his/her behavior as well. A dog that does not get to burn off a lot of their energy is more likely to be a dog that digs holes in the yard, barks, and destroys your household items when you are away. The two most common reasons for behavior problems in dogs are boredom and lack of physical activity.
